Bandit's Health Testing Results:
(copies of test results not appearing on OFA will be emailed as requested)

A few of Bandit's accomplishments include:

  • American Champion at 14 months old with 2 major wins;
  • Multiple Group Placements
  • Multiple Awards of Merit
  • Numerous Best of Breeds in large competitions
  • Active Therapy Dog
  • CHIC Health Certification #18335
  • Canine Good Citizen Award

Bandit was an amazing dog with a stellar personality - in fact he was an active therapy dog, and spent a lot of time visiting at the senior's centres and hospital with his owner. His favorite visits were the Group home and school for teenage boys. Both his sons & grandsons have continued that tradition, with some of them working in schools as well including doing therapy work at the Juvenile Detention Centre.

Bandit finished his American Championship with 2 back-to-back 5 point majors in California at just over a year old. During his show career he took numerous Best of Breeds & Awards of Merit, some of which were awarded at shows with entries of 40+ Mastiffs! Bandit also has a number of Group placements to his name, which were achieved at large shows against incredibly stiff competition.

He has been health tested up to today's standards, and has produced health and longevity in his kids. Wednesday's side of the family has also produced dogs living into their teens, and her great-grandmother was still competing (& loving it!) in the show & obedience rings at 9.5 years old.

Wednesday has also had a pretty incredible career, given her limited showing. She finished her Canadian Championship at 11 months with Best of Breed majors, and has a Best Baby Puppy in Group, 2 Best Puppy in Groups, and a Best Bred by Exhibitor in Specialty award to her name. She is our "in house" kleptomaniac, and will sneak off with pretty much anything interesting that isn't nailed down... she's been spotted sneaking off with nail clippers, TV remotes, touques, leashes, etc.... but her favourite item by far would have to be dad's work boots!

The puppies from this breeding will be absolutely stunning, with large blocky heads, substantial bone and nice deep bodies. As always, I place my puppies based on the best home for them, not on a first-come first-served basis.

This will our first outcross breeding in 3 generations, and is being done to produce puppies who mirror the best qualities of their parents - namely their breed type, temperament, health and conformation. By using healthy, fully tested dogs who are are further apart genetically, but still fairly similar in breed type, we end up with puppies who exhibit the traits we want to reproduce (i.e. wonderful temperaments, massive bone structure, big heads, great toplines, etc.), without doubling up on possibly deleterious genes that may be lacking in the background.

So whether you're looking for a puppy to show, do therapy work, or simply steal your family's hearts (& the best spot on the sofa!), you can rest assured that we've done our very best to breed a healthy, temperamentally sound puppy that will grow up to embody the best of the Mastiff breed's characteristics.

We will (as always), be reserving the pick male and female from this litter for ourselves until we decide which one fits best with our breeding program and future vision.

All of the puppies in this litter will be $3,000 (USD outside of Canada) regardless of colour or sex, and will be sold on Spay/Neuter Contracts with Non-Breeding Registrations from the Canadian Kennel Club.

All of our puppies go to their forever homes with:

  • A lifetime guarantee against genetic disease & a 2 year health guarantee for non-genetic conditions;
  • 6 weeks of free health insurance;
  • Copies of all vet checks & health records;
  • A puppy pack;
  • and of course lifetime support with an unconditional return policy.
